THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN POCATELLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH - WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. A WINTER STORM WARNING CONTINUES UNTIL 11 AM MST FRIDAY.
* TIMING - SNOW - HEAVY AT TIMES - WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.
* SNOW AMOUNTS - ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 20 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ABOVE 6000 FEET MSL WITH 3 TO 7 INCHES BELOW 6000 FEET MSL.
* MAIN IMPACT - SLICK ROADS ALONG WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ARE LIKELY. ROAD CLOSURES ARE POSSIBLE.
