Severe Thunderstorms likely tonight.
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will develop overnight. Damaging winds as well as isolated tornadoes will be possible with these storms.
Additional threats will be brief heavy rainfall, small hail and cloud to ground lightning.
This line of strong storms is expected to be in our area between 1 am and 4 am. This time is subject to change especially if part of the line of storms increases forward speed.
This weather event has the potential to be especially hazardous since it will be moving through when most residents are asleep. Residents are urged to have a plan in place as well as a way to receive warnings before they go to sleep tonight.
