Severe Weather Expected in Slocomb This Afternoon and Evening Early School Release today at 11:30 pm

Timing for the event has accelerated from what was briefed yesterday.A tornado watch is anticipated around midday and the scheduled webinar may need to be cancelled.The greatest threat for severe storms will be over Southeast AL and the FL Panhandle; however, severe weather is possible across the entire forecast area.
