Search underway for missing Community Transition Program Participant
(Pierre, SD) – A search is underway for a missing parolee.
Clifton Desersa, currently on parole supervision with the Department of Corrections, walked away from his placement in the Community Transition Program this morning. Desersa, who is serving a 5-year sentence for Burglary 3rd degree out of Pennington County, was participating in programming designed to help him transition back to the community and left without permission from Unit C, the minimum custody facility of the Jameson Annex located on the State Penitentiary campus in Sioux Falls.
Desersa is a 24-year-old Native American male. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 235 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
