Our partnership with the communities we serve cannot be understated. There were numerous instances of alert citizens reporting suspicious activity, leading to arrests of suspects. Directed enforcement by our Problem Specific Policing Team (P.S.P.) and Vandalism Enforcement Team (V.E.T.) to identify and target crime trends will continue, as well as the use of Advanced Surveillance and Protection (A.S.A.P.) vehicle. We have a great partnership with the communities we serve. Strong gang intervention and education programs, including our award winning youth intervention program, Personal Responsibility In Developing Ethics (P.R.I.D.E.) and LA Crime Stoppers have contributed to the overall decrease in crime.
