Durfee Avenue to Close for at-grade railroad crossing improvements

Union Pacific Railroad, a railroad company, has contracted with Farwest Paving Company to make improvements to Durfee Avenue at-grade railroad crossing in Pico Rivera.

Due to the work, Durfee Avenue will be closed on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Durfee Avenue will be closed between West Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard. Only residential and commercial truck access will be allowed through the closure.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during this time and expect delays.
Motorists are also reminded to observe all traffic control, parking restrictions and flagmen in and around the construction zone.
