Ingham County Sheriff's Deputies rescue a women who fell through the ice.
At approximately 1516 hours, Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 804 N. Every road for female and two dogs who fell through the ice on their private pond. Suzanne Maier, 58 y/o female, attempted to rescue her two golden Retrievers who had gone through the ice and became victim herself. Suzanne’s husband called 911. Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies in conjunction with a Lansing Mason Area Paramedic were able to successfully rescue Suzanne and her two dogs from the water. Suzanne was exhibiting serious signs of hypothermia and was transported to Sparrow Hospital by ambulance. The dogs appear to be healthy with adverse effects.
