CURB SEWER UTILIZATION
DUE TO POWER OUTAGE

Due to a loss of electrical power at the Nederland Wastewater Treatment Plant and a considerable area of the City, the City of Nederland requests customers to minimize their utilization of the sewer system (toilets, kitchen/bathroom sinks, washing clothes, etc.) until power is restored at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Entergy estimates power will be restored at the Plant in the next few hours. When it is no longer necessary to minimize sewer utilization, the City will provide such notice.
