Suspicious Person from Thursday 
Yesterday, a man visited some homes in the Township offering to arrange tree trimming and lawn maintenance. I was concerned since this type of action is often used by burglars to see if a homeowner was home. Due to great information gathered by residents, I was able to track down the man's employer and confirm that he was working for Mason's Tree Service. Other than not obtaining a solicitor's permit, the man's intent was not criminal.
If an unknown person knocks at your door or you see a person on your neighbor's property, please call 911 IMMEDIATELY so that we can determine whether that person is a potential burglar. Your attention to this type of activity is what helps us reduce the incidents of burglary in the Township. Thank you for your help!
