Motorcyclist fatally struck by a hit and run vehicle in Chatsworth
Chatsworth: On Saturday, March, 10 2012 at approximately 12:55 pm, a vehicle described as a white 1999-2000 Ford F250/350 pick-up truck was traveling northbound De Soto Avenue and negotiated a left hand turn at Nordhoff Street where it collided with a motorcycle traveling southbound De Soto Avenue. The motorcyclist, a 25 year old resident of Porter Ranch was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the Ford pick-up truck, described as a male Hispanic, in his 30’s, light complexion, with a mustache fled the scene of the traffic collision and remains outstanding.
The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
