Bloomfield Human Services has received a Homelessness Prevention Grant from Essex County.
To be considered for assistance, residents need to be behind on:
•Mortgage
•Utility bill(s)
•Rent
Applicants must meet income requirements, proof of sustainability and other requirements as outlined by the grant. Residents at risk of eviction, foreclosure or utility shut-off should contact the office for additional information.
Appointments are currently being scheduled for an initial screening. Screening cannot be done without an appointment. All appointments will be made on a first come, first serve basis. Screening appointments can be made by calling the Human Services Division Monday – Friday during their regular business hours at 973.680.4017.
