Robberies in "White Fence Gang" turf w/n Boyle Heights community:
On Tuesday, March 18, 2012, at approximately 2300 hours, multiple suspects riding in a green 4dr Honda Civic stopped next to the victim in the area of Lan Franco Street and Estudillo Ave. This area is within the “White Fence” street gang turf. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and took his backpack.
On Tuesday, March 18, 2012, at approximately 2330 hours, multiple suspects riding in a green 4dr Honda Civic stopped next to the victim in the area of Lorena and Whittier Blvd. This area is also within the “White Fence” street gang turf. The suspects asked the victim, “Where are you from.” One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and took his IPhone.
On April 5, 2012, at approximately 1330 hours, multiple suspects riding in a beige 4dr Nissan Altima stopped next to the victim near the corner of Whittier Blvd and Spence Street. The suspects approached the victim and asked him if he was from “White Fence.” The suspect then beat the victim taking his head phones.
Based on the many commonalities, it is believed all the suspects are the same despite the different vehicle used.
