Town of Camillus, New York – April 11, 2012: The Camillus Police Department takes great satisfaction in reporting that on April 10, 2012 at 7:00pm the police department recognized Mr. Mark Kolinski and David Philippone with the departments Special Recognition Award, along with Officer Jay Pollard who was also recognized as the 2011 Police Officer of the Year.
Officer Pollard was recognized for his impressive ability to apprehend impaired drivers, work with community children during Child ID Events, as well as volunteering his limited time off teaching our Police Cadets.
In 2011, Officer Pollard clearly demonstrated his commitment to the police department’s mission with his positive attitude and work ethic which made him stand out over his peers as a model worker.
Mr. Mark Kolinski and Mr. David Philippone were also recognized for their support and dedication to the police department over the past two years while serving on the Camillus Town Board.
