The Association Executive Director has received several calls from residents throughout the State about telemarketing calls they are getting from a person who represents themselves as calling for the NHACoP and seeking funds to assist the families of Chief Maloney and the 4 wounded officers. Most of the caller IDs did not provide information, but a few and indicated it was from Arizona.
The NH Association of Chiefs of Police is not doing telemarketing of any type for any reasons. Inquiries with SACOP and New England Chiefs revealed the same. All media was notified and should be running warnings this evening.
