POLICE NAB DRIVER WITH FIVE POUNDS OF MARIJUANA
BOXBOROUGH, MA – An unlicensed driver led Boxborough Police to the discovery of a large amount of marijuana on Monday night.
Detective Nathan BOWOLICK stopped a vehicle on Massachusetts Ave. at 9:30 PM after learning that the owner’s driver’s license was suspended. He was identified as Jason C. STEVENSON, 28, of 614 Proctor Rd. in Manchester, NH.
Police ordered the vehicle towed and while conducting an inventory, located plastic trash bags containing five pounds of marijuana in the trunk. A box of .40 caliber ammunition was also found.
STEVENSON was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended license, possession with intent to distribute a class D substance, possession of a class D substance over one ounce and illegal possession of ammunition.
STEVENSON was bailed and is scheduled for a arraignment at Ayer District Court on Tuesday (April 17) morning.
