At approximately 2:00 AM this morning LPD responded to a shots fired call at Klusoz’s, 1800 Buddy Holly. One man at the club was assaulted and suffered numerous injuries and another was shot. Gabriel Ramirez, 23, was involved in an altercation inside the club and was struck with an object, possibly a beer bottle, and was knocked unconscious. He was assaulted by several suspects. Pedro Alcorte, 31, was apparently not involved in the fight and was leaving the club with other patrons when he was shot one time. It is unknown at this time if the suspect that shot Alcorte was involved in the fight. Both victims were transported to UMC. Ramirez suffered numerous injuries to his head and face. Alcorte suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his thigh. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
