The Boxborough Fire Department is happy to announce a free Child Car Seat Check Up event on Saturday May 19th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Boxborough Fire Department, 502 Massachusetts Avenue in Boxborough. The Child Passenger Safety Program is designed to help educate parents on the proper installation of car or booster seats in their cars. The program also focuses on ensuring that each child is utilizing a seat that is free of defects, recalls, and is appropriate for the height and weight of the child. No pre-registration is required. Individuals interested in this program but unable to attend on this date can sign up for an alternative inspection date on the Fire Department website.
