The Melbourne Beach Police Department is issuing a community alert after having two cars broken into at a beach access.
The burglaries took place at a beach access involving two vehicles on April 29, 2012 at about 3:45 pm. One window was smashed and the other vehicle was unlocked. Purses were stolen from these vehicles along with other valuable items. Anyone with information regarding this crime, please call The Melbourne Beach Police Department at 321-723-4343.
“Please do not leave any visible items such as purses, cell phones, laptop computers, MP3 players, portable GPS units or backpacks in the interior of a parked and unattended vehicle. Completely secure your vehicle, even if you step away for only a few minutes.”
