Burglary Alert Special Attention East Residents
On May 22 2012 in the afternoon hours two separate instances occurred where subject(s) attempted entry to one residence and gained entry to another.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers received a call to the 1300 block of Ballas Rd for Suspicious Persons at a residence. The reporting party advised that she heard knocking at the front door of her residence. As she approached the front door the subject(s) immediately left the area. Upon closer inspection the reporting party noticed that the screen had been damaged on the front door near the locking mechanism.
The subjects were described as;
White Male
25 to 35 years old
Skinny Build
Unshaven
Beige Hat
Light colored clothes
White Female
Heavy Build
25 to 35 years old
Black top
Large Purse
Dark Hair
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Officers received an assignment to the 900 block of Grupp Rd for a Burglary Just Discovered. The reporting party advised that he had returned home to find that his television had been taken from its normal place and left on the floor near an exit door, along with other items that had been moved from their original places. Nothing was reported as stolen at the time of this report; however damage had been done to the reporting party’s television. The reporting party also described a white male and female walking in the area of his residence as he returned home.
It is currently unknown if the subjects listed in both occurrence are the same. Investigation into both matters continues.
