Search underway for missing Community Transition Program participant.

(SIOUX FALLS, SD) – A search is underway for a missing parolee taking part in the Community Transition Program.

Daniel Brisbin, currently on parole supervision with the Department of Corrections, walked away from his placement in the Community Transition Program at approximately 9:11 this morning. He left the Unit C parking lot in a black Mitsubishi Eclipse registered to him, License 1AS V12. Brisbin, who is serving sentences for Grand Theft and Burglary 2nd out of Minnehaha County, was participating in programming designed to help him transition back to the community and left the minimum security facility located on the State Penitentiary campus without authorization.

Brisbin, age 21, is a white male. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 147 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
