Protect Your Skin
It’s getting warmer out there…
Take a few minutes to protect your skin and help prevent diseases, including skin cancer and West Nile Virus.
• Apply sunscreen with sun protective factor (SPF) 15 or higher and with both UVA and UVB protection. Remember to reapply after swimming and excessive sweating
• Seek shade and consider wearing a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses
• Cover up with clothing
• Avoid using tanning beds and sunlamps
• Put on insect repellant with DEET or Picardin to protect from mosquito and tick bites (follow manufacturer label instructions)
