IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding 6/2/12 ***FATAL*** Hit & Run accident. 
The New Jersey State Police is requesting assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a hit & run accident which occured yesterday and injured several people. The victim previously listed in CRITICAL condition (a 29 year old female) has succumbed to her injuries.
The accident occured on the morning of Saturday June 2nd at approximately 11:40AM on I-676 NB by Exit 4 in Camden NJ.
***NEW INFO ON SUSPECT VEHICLE AND DRIVER***
The suspect vehicle is now believed to be a 2005 to 2008 Nissan Xterra. Airbags may have deployed. This vehicle would have heavy front end damage, heavy hood damage, and a smashed windshield.
The suspected driver has been described as a white male in his late 20's, approximately 5'-10" with brown hair and tan skin. He may have a tatoo on his lower arm. He was wearing jean shorts and a white or light color shirt.
The individuals in the black Xterra stopped after the accident and exited their vehicle but immediately departed when they saw the damage and injuries of the victims.
The vehicle was last seen fleeing the scene by taking Exit 4 off I-676 into Camden.
