Fruitport Township Police Department is investigating the larceny of a wallet and fraudulent use of credit cards.
The victim reported to police she had been shopping at the Meijer store (5300 S. Harvey) on the evening of Saturday, June 02, 2012. She was pushing a shopping cart, and her purse was in the child seat portion of the shopping cart. Her wallet was inside the purse.
She discovered her wallet had been stolen from the purse. The wallet contained several credit cards. The victim reported the credit cards had been used at several locations in the Muskegon and Grand Haven areas.
Police are working with the various retail establishments in an effort to identify a suspect.
No further information is being released at this time by police.
