ROBBERY ARRESTS BROOKLYN PARK

On June 1, 2012, at approximately 4:08 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Ritchie Highway South in Brooklyn Park for a report of a fight in progress.



Upon arrival, officers located a group of males in the grassy area nearby. Officers came in contact with the 19-year-old male victim, who advised that he got into a physical altercation with two male suspects. The victim stated that a verbal argument initiated with the two suspects and later escalated with the victim being physically assaulted. During the course of the assault, the victim’s cigarettes were taken out of his hand. Both suspects were taken into custody at the scene and charged accordingly.


Suspect #1: Anthony Robert Carbone, 18, of 5020 Brookwood Road, Brooklyn Park, Md. The suspect was charged with Robbery, Second Degree Assault, and Theft under $100

Suspect #2: 17-year-old male from Brooklyn Park. The suspect was charged with Robbery Second Degree Assault and Theft under $100
