The work as stated below is complete and power has been restored to residents.
DTE Energy to conduct repair work on Detroit electrical circuit
Who: DTE Energy is planning to shutdown electrical power to conduct repairs to a circuit in Detroit that serves several neighborhoods in the city.
What: DTE Energy employees will be making repairs to equipment will take place at multiple locations in the area. About 1,700 customers will be affected temporarily.
When: The planned outage is scheduled for June 7, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. to about 12:00 p.m. the same day.
Where: The Livernois/Outer Drive area between 7 Mile and 8 Mile Roads, east of Picadilly and west of Woodward Avenue.
Why: The planned outage is designed to prevent unexpected and extended power outages in the future. This work is part of DTE Energy’s normal day-to-day system maintenance process.
