The Worth Police Department would like to remind everyone to lock their cars when parked anywhere outside.
This simple deterrent is effective in thwarting the majority of thefts from vehicles that are reported. Unlocked vehicles present an open invitation to thieves.
Also, never leave valuables, purses, wallets, GPS units and radar detectors in plain view inside your vehicle. If at all possible, bring in these items.
