Information for residents of Belle Plaine regarding storm damage from this mornings event.
Damage assessment is currently underway. Several trees were knocked over and power lines affected with this storm.
If you have damage at your residence:
Contact your home owners insurance.
If you have trees or branches in your yard public works is requesting all branches be stacked on the boulevard in front of your residence.
Diameter of branches placed on the boulevard should be less than 3 inches.
If you have questions, call the Belle Plaine City Hall at 952-873-5553 after 8:00 a.m..
