The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward for up to $50,000 for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for this series of sexual assaults.
Between 1996 and 2011, there have been twenty-five similar incidents of sexual assault in Los Angeles. These incidents have occurred in 77th, Southwest, Newton, Wilshire, Rampart, and Southeast Areas. It is believed that the same suspect is responsible for all of these incidents, as well as three additional incidents being handled by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. The suspect typically approaches women who are alone on their way to school or work or who are waiting at a bus stop, between the hours of 5:45 AM and 8:00 AM. The suspect converses with the victim and then threatens to kill the victim with a handgun or knife. The suspect forces the victim from the sidewalk to a secondary location, where he sexually assaults her.

HEIGHT: 5’2”-5’6”
CURRENT AGE: 40-55 years old
ADDITIONAL: Possible mustache and light complexion
ODDITIES: Tattoo of one or two teardrops under right or left eye. Teardrop tattoo(s) may have been removed.
CLOTHING: Dark hooded sweatshirt, green bandana, black baseball cap, or dark color beanie to cover head.
WEAPONS: Handgun or knife
DESCENT: Hispanic EYES: Brown
WEIGHT: 130-170 lbs.
