National Weather Serivce of Northern Indiana has issued a Heat Advisory and Fire Weather Watch for Fulton County
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a fire weather watch for increased fire danger from Thursday morning through Thursday evening for most of northern Indiana.
Indiana counties included in the watch are Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White and Whitley.
Very hot temperatures of 100 degrees to 105 degrees combined with low relative humidity of 20 percent to 25 percent and gusty west winds will lead to an increased fire danger risk on Thursday.
West winds of 15 mph to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph are expected mid-morning through early evening Thursday.
