Re: Ban on Open Burning
Due to the dangerously dry weather conditions, effective Friday, June 29, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. there will be a ban on any open burning in Lansing area. The area listed in this burning ban includes all political jurisdictions served by the above listed fire departments. This ban on open burning will remain in effect until further notice.
Community residents are reminded to use special care in any 4th of July celebrations. Conditions are such that errant fireworks displays will start unwanted fires. Residents should use special care and celebrate this holiday season responsibly.
