NO BURN ORDER Issued 
On June 28th, 2012, the City of Charleston issued a NO BURN ORDER as part of an emergency declaration concerning drought conditions in the area. The high temperatures, combined with the drought conditions make open burning and the use of fireworks an imminent and substantial danger to the citizens of Charleston. With this NO BURN ORDER, open burning and the use of fireworks are prohibited. This ban will be in effect until further notice.
