On 07-02-12 at approx 7:45 hrs, an LAPD Devonshire Division officer was flagged down by a citizen for a "robbery" suspect leaving the Osh Store located in the shopping center at Chatsworth St and Zelzah Ave. Suspect-1 and 2 fled the scene in a stolen van. A short pursuit took place. The pursuit ended when the suspects crashed the van in the area of Hayvenhurst Ave btwn Devonshire St and Chatsworth St. A perimeter was set up by officers, and Suspect-1 was taken into custody. Suspect-2 is still outstanding. Officer's investigation revealed, the initial crime was not a robbery, but rather a burglary.
