There has been an increase in thefts of air conditioning units taken from vacant homes. In addition, we are also seeing an increase in stolen vehicles, car break-ins and thefts of bicycles.

Please make an effort to monitor vacant homes near your residence and remove all valuables from your vehicles. Use available locking devices to secure your cars and bicycles.

Be vigilant and report all suspicious activity to the LAPD direct dispatch center at 1-877-275-5273.

Continue to use 911 for all emergencies and crimes in progress.
