PRESS RELEASE- Drug arrest at local motel 
Warsaw Police were involved in a drug investigation on Tuesday, July 3rd at a local motel. While at the Economy Inn at 3521 Lake City Highway on an unrelated matter, police noticed the strong odor of burnt Marijuana coming from a room there. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Blaine Allen Sawyer, age 44, of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Seized in the arrest was 382 grams of Marijuana, an undisclosed amount of cash, and a vehicle.
The amount of Marijuana and packaging indicated that Sawyer was involved in the dealing/sale of Marijuana. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for Dealing Marijuana, a class C felony, with no initial bond given.
Warsaw Police continue to investigate this matter. They were assisted by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office.
