Press release: Recent drug bust resolves several recent Warsaw burglaries and thefts
A Saturday, June 30th Meth lab discovery and drug arrests have resulted in the resolution of several recent theft cases in Warsaw. Suspects- Charles Dove, 28, of Warsaw, and Jason Sheppard, 33, of Roann, were arrested at a residence on S. Detroit Street, Warsaw at that time.
Subsequent investigation and stolen property has led police to resolve a Friday, June 29th theft from Dollar General on East Market Street, a June 29th break in and theft at the Short Stop on South Buffalo Street, a June theft from a U- Store it on East Winona Avenue in Warsaw, as well as a March theft from vehicle from a Country Club Drive Warsaw resident.
Items recovered at the original Meth lab residence, as well as other homes subsequently, were a direct result of the Meth lab arrests resulting in the drug charges against Dove and Sheppard. Dove and Sheppard have admitted their involvement in most of the listed thefts. Other persons are expected to be charged as a result of the investigation.
