Armed Robbery, Peoples United Bank, 99 Dorset Street, South Burlington 
On Thursday afternoon, July 5, 2012 at 4:49 PM a lone black male entered the People’s United Bank at 99 Dorset Street in South Burlington. The male approached a teller, displayed a blued semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash. The suspect is described as a black male, tall (6’0 to 6’2), slender (150 to 160), with a prominent jaw. He was wearing a white polo/golf shirt with an “ADT” logo on the front, white pants, white sneakers, a grey baseball hat with the letter “B” on the front, and sports style sunglasses. The suspect also had a sleeve type tattoo on his right arm consisting of wavy lines and circles.
The suspect left the bank on foot toward the University Mall parking garage with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were suffered during the robbery.
