Motorists are advised that the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has temporarily closed the left, eastbound lane of Grand Avenue between O'Plaine Road and First Street due to a pavement buckle. All motorists are encouraged to avoid the area as the lane closure will likely result in traffic delays during this evening's commute. The Village anticipates that IDOT will complete any necessary repairs and reopen the lane upon completion sometime in the near future.
