Subsequent to a complaint 40 year old Kenneth Jackson and 46 year old Carrie Dygert both of Swiss Village trailer park were arrested on numerous animal charges. Jackson was ticketed for an unlicensed dog as well as having a dog with no rabies vaccination. Dygert was arrested on 11 counts of Failure to provide proper sustenance to her 11 cats as well as 11 counts of unlicensed cats, one count for the smell of the cats feces being an annoyance and one count for unclean, unsanitary living conditions for the cats. Police received a complaint and out found fecal matter all over the floors of the trailer and improper food and water for the cats. All animals were seized and brought to the Herkimer County Humane Society. Both were issued appearance tickets to return to the Town of German Flatts Court at a later date.
