The NWS has issued a flash flood watch for Butte-Silver Bow until midnight tonight 
National Weather Service has issued a for Municipal Location flash flood watch for Butte-Silver Bow ans Wstern Montana until Midnight tonight.
Monsoonal moisture continues to stream over the Northern Rockies this afternoon and evening. Slow moving showers and thunderstorms have developed over the region and will be capable of producing heavy rain. Rainfall rates of over one inch per hour are possible with this storm.
This heavy rain could cause flooding as well as rock and mud slides in the higher terrains
A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.
