Weekend Tire Slashing Reported in Cleona Borough
Between Saturday 7/14/2012 and Sunday 7/15/2012, 3 vehicles had tires slashed by unknown suspects in the southeast section of the Borough. All 3 vehicles were parked on the street overnight and had 1 tire slashed on the driver's side of each vehicle.
Borough residents are reminded to be vigilant especially in the summer months because there are increased problems with property crimes including vandalism and burglaries. Police remind residents to secure their homes when away and to secure property such as bicycles and other items overnight. Residents are also encouraged to equip their homes with exterior lights which help to reduce the chances of your property being targeted by criminals.
