Boxborough Police charge man in connection with recent car break-ins.

BOXBOROUGH, MA – Boxborough Police officers went to an apartment on Liberty Square Rd. on July 18 searching for a man who was wanted on three outstanding arrest warrants. Cameron D. FLORES-HURLERT, 31, was believed to be staying at the apartment. FLORES-HURLBERT was wanted in connection to a recent rash of car break-ins in Boxborough.

The resident of the apartment allowed officers inside to search for FLORES-HURLBERT. They did not locate him there but did see items that were reported stolen in the car break-ins. Detectives responded and obtained a search warrant for the apartment.

During the execution of the search warrant numerous items believed to be stolen were seized. These items included jewelry, electronics and computers. Officers also seized drugs and drug paraphernalia.

On July 19, members of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office fugitive task force located FLORES-HURLBERT in Acton and took him into custody on the arrest warrants. He will face additional charges of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and larceny of property over $250.00. It is anticipated that further charges will be forthcoming.

Sergeant Brett Pelley, Detectives Nathan Bowolick and Robert Romilly and Patrol Officers Patrick Colburn, Philip Gath and Edward Pokornicki participated in the investigation.
