Montecito Fire is on scene of a transformer explosion on Eucalyptus Ln. Edison is enroute, and at this time there is no estimated time when power will be re-established in the area.

The following is a reminder of actions to take when experiencing a power outage:

If your electricity stays off for longer than a few minutes, you should call or email Edison to report it. Edison will use your information to determine the size and scale of the outage to prioritize their responses.

Edison does not provide the Fire Department with any information about outages, so please do not call the Fire District for information or updates as to when your power may be back in service.
