ALBANY POLICE DEPARTMENT SEARCH FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

The robbery occurred this morning at 5:30. The victims were walking south on Easman Drive near its intersection with South Street when the suspects jumped out and held them at gun point with a shotgun. The two took the female victim’s purse with the contents and then fled the scene on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area and were unable to locate the suspects.

Citizens need to be looking out for the following suspects:

1. BLACK MALE, 5’-4, WEARING DARK CLOTHING
2. BLACK MALE, 5’-8”, WEARING A SCARF OVER HIS FACE AND DARK CLOTHING, ARMED WITH A SHOTGUN

Anyone with information regarding the robbery should call the Albany Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
