20-Year-Old Woman Killed in Solo Traffic Collision
Los Angeles: A young woman was killed Wednesday night after she lost control of the car she was driving, ran off the roadway and collided with multiple fixed objects.
On Wednesday, August 1, 2012, around 10:40 p.m., Valley Traffic Division Officers were called to investigate a traffic collision that occurred near Branford Street and San Fernando Road in the community of Arleta.
20-year-old Brianda Lopez of Sun Valley, was driving a white, 2005 Toyota Corolla east on Branford St when she lost control, just past San Fernando Road, crossed over the westbound Branford Street lane, ran off the road and collided with multiple fixed objects. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Lopez dead.
