Door-to-Door Salesman 
The Canyon Police Department has located the door-to-door salesman that was warned about yesterday. In addition we have located his associates working in other communities. The individual has been warned NOT to be going door to door any longer. His permit has been revoked and seized.
I appreciate all the assistance in this matter. The Police Dept. and citizens working together for a common cause clearly helped in locating this guy who was a nuisance. He was never a true threat to the community but just causing unnecessary alarm with our citizens.
Just a friendly reminder. The texting ban while driving in the City of Canyon went into effect yesterday. We are asking for voluntary compliance with the ordinance. There is a complete cell phone ban in school zones.
