ALERT – FOX & GROUNDHOG TEST POSITIVE FOR RABIES
August 2, 2012: Two wild animals in the area have tested positive for rabies in as many weeks. Both animals were either found dead or killed on the 900 and 1100 blocks of Morgan Avenue. Residents are advised to keep all pet food indoors, not to feed feral cats or dogs, keep your trash covered, and report any unusual animal activity to Palmyra Police Central Communications at (856) 829-0191 or to the Borough’s Animal Control Officer, M & R Wildlife, at (856) 786-6623.
