PRESS RELEASE - Narcotics Arrests
NARCOTICS ARRESTS
On Sunday evening, August 5, 2012, Warsaw Police received information regarding subjects involved in the use of methamphetamine and prescription medication. Warsaw Police Department Narcotics investigators observed a female leaving 519 W. Winona Avenue, Apt. C., Warsaw, IN 46580. Contact was made with the female, identified as Jaclyne Messer, who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and Schedule II prescription drugs.
Additionally, contact was made with the occupant of 519 W. Winona Avenue. Consent to search was provided to investigators where a firearm was located as well as several items of drug paraphernalia. Jaclyne Messer was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for dealing methamphetamine, a Class B felony. The case will be reviewed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Further arrests are likely by Warsaw Police.
Also, in the early morning hours of August 6, 2012, Warsaw Police was dispatched to a local Warsaw business regarding a shoplifting incident. Michael C. Crum was arrested for theft/shoplifting and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail. During the search of the individuals, methamphetamine was located on one of the male subjects. After further conversation, items to manufacture methamphetamine were located. Further information was obtained that there may be a meth lab located at 12634 S. 200 W., Silver Lake, IN 46982.
After a search warrant was obtained, Kosciusko County officers and Warsaw Police Department responded to the residence where several meth related items were located along with a “one pot” meth lab and several HCL generators. Additional charges were filed against Michael C. Crum for dealing methamphetamine. The case will be reviewed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Further arrests are likely.
