Be advised that a representative of the Town will be visiting residents conducting a survey over the next few weeks.

ALL TOWN OF NEWINGTON RESIDENTS
TOWN SEEKING GRANT
This is to advise you that during the next couple of weeks a representative of the Town of Newington will be coming to each residence to conduct a survey. They will be asking you a few questions which will include the number of people in your household, the total annual income, the race or ethnic heritage of each household member. Everyone’s cooperation with this survey is very important. This survey is being conducted in an effort to see if the Town can qualify to proceed with a grant application.
Due to new regulations The Town must make improvements to its sewage system. These changes will be very costly and the Town does not have the resources to pay for these improvements on our own. Therefore, we are conducting this survey to find out if we meet certain standards that will make it possible for us to apply for a grant.
The person that comes to your house to conduct the survey will be wearing an ID to show that they are a representative of the Town of Newington. If you have any questions please call the Town Hall at 857-3115.
