The Topsfield Police Department is presently taking reservations for an upcoming Saturday, 4-hour, Firearm Safety Course that will be hosted at the Topsfield Police Department 210 Boston Street, Topsfield.
This course fulfills the State of Massachusetts requirement before residents can apply for a Firearms Identification Card or License to possess or carry a handgun.
There is no charge for Topsfield residents. Non-residents will be charged $50. and are asked to bring a check to the class made out to the “Town of Topsfield”.
This course is in very high demand with limited openings.
