The Mountain View Police Department is encouraging residents and those visiting Mountain View to avoid the area around St. Francis High School, 1885 Miramonte Avenue, tomorrow afternoon, August 18th, due to the increased traffic activity for the private funeral of Captain Matthew Manoukian.  The funeral, which is not open to the public, begins at 3:00 p.m. and it is anticipated that well over 1,000 people will be in attendance. 

We would also like for residents to be aware that this will be a traditional military funeral and will include a 21 gun salute as well as a military fly over.
